@anniesue I used to swim much earlier but I hardly go to the beach anymore. It was lovely though, so I think I’ll make more of an effort this summer.

@johnfalconer thank you. Unfortunately it was the smoke associated with some serious fires that caused the rather spectacular sunset (which we just missed)

I think you may have seen the best of it Narayani. I left the beach about 15 minutes after the sun had set and the colours were getting brighter as I drove home.

@merrelyn it was pretty spectacular as we were driving there, faded a bit and then yes, the colours did get stronger again
