Some more electronics added and now all securely housed in a plastic enclosure.
Features now include:
- Running from a PP3 battery;
- Power switch (living the dream);
- Buttons (three of them: up, down and fire);
- Screen (to tell me what it's doing);
- Trigger cable (connects to a Canon SLR camera);
- USB port (connects to computer to upload new code).
At the moment the software just lets you focus, take photos and change the screen brightness.
@cazink Hopefully it will not be long before I get to using it out in the field so to speak.
@dulciknit Well just making it up as I go along really. The screen and microprocessor are just basic off the shelf modules, the rest of the components and bits and bobs are from Maplin. Gives me an excuse to get out the office on a lunch time and cycle to maplin to buy my next part.
