Three months ago I took on the complete spur of the moment the decision to start a 365 project. I am so glad I did something so uncharacteristic. Thank you for all the wonderful 365er's who follow my project and have encouraged me and supported me these last three months. A quarter of the way there! Today a photo of my two boys. As a full time mum they need and take up most of my time and energy. I love being with them but after being at home for 5 years now, it has done and continues to mean a lot to have found a space for me to be me. To be know for another part of character. To have a way to interact with other adults. To dust off those brain cells. So thank you very much one and all. May the journey continue....
365 really is a wonderful thing, I agree. We all have to find our own way to manage the time it takes though. I hope you can too. Gorgeous boys you have.
Well done on reaching a quarter of the way Ruth, and best of luck with the rest of your project. Cherish the time with your boys, before you know it they will be as big as my two!!
@seanoneill I do. B turns 2 tomorrow. They are my joy and delight. B is having early mornings at the mo, tiring yes, but I know in a few years time they won't be wanting a morning cuddle the second they open their eyes, soI cherish each little 5.30am cuddle!
365 has had the same impact on me. All my friends were in my profession (even my two daughters!) and it wasn't until I joined 365 that I began to develop a passion beyond school and to 'meet' some of the loveliest people ever. This photo is wonderful and my betting is you will have images of your boys through 365 you may never have captured.
@ceilidh I do I do! Ones I would never ever have thought of taking. Ones I took because of 365, this one included, they were climbing up here when we left the beach and because I have my camera to hand I just quickly took it.
I'm glad you joined 365 too! You have posted some wonderful shots and like others look forward to seeing the rest of your year.
Enjoy your little 'uns while you can, they grow too quickly and before you know it, they will be bigger than you and won't want to share their secrets anymore.
A great photo and a lovely sentiment. I have only been here one month, and I had no idea how much I would cherish it. Your two boys are adorable, lots of memories being made. My two boys are 35 and 37, and the older they get, the quicker the time passes.
Hi Ruth I am pleased to say I am already following your work and have enjoyed seeing how creative you are. I am looking forward to learning from everyone in Taffy's group especially Taffy whose work I love.
Great shot. Congratulations on 3 months in. I started 365 a year and half ago and it was the best thing I ever did. Last year was a very bad year for me and a lot of the time 365 was like therapy. Long may you continue.
Good for you! I completely understand. I work two days a week just to stay sane and talk to other adults! 365 is an amazing community and it really is a wonderful place to share photography and socialize.
Enjoy your little 'uns while you can, they grow too quickly and before you know it, they will be bigger than you and won't want to share their secrets anymore.
