The mist around our village today took a long time to lift. Still misty when I was about to cook lunch. First time tried to photo mist. Not sure how successful it was.
I like this a lot Ruth -- the open space and the mist lying there. The only thing I'd suggest is cropping from the bottom, to give it more of a panorama view and emphasize the mist more. Right now the solid ground and mist are in balance, and I think it would look more intriguing with more of an emphasis on the mist. Maybe cropping about half the black ground.
Ahh see you get those suggestions that I get about cropping from my mentor. Helping me a lot to think about it. Think @Taffy is right about this one for sure. I find mist hard to capture and you have caught it well here.
Very atmospheric. Loved all the misty shots. Not time to comment individually though tonight as I am on catch up. Have been busy all weekend with our photo club annual exhibition so have been out of action for a few days. I think I like yesterday's best.
