Those that follow my project will know there are two little boys in my life who mean the world to me. There is though another man in my life who rarely gets mentioned or photographed. A man who is a wonderful daddy, works hard to provide for us all, who cares deeply for us all. The day we married in our wedding vows he vowed to love me as I was. What a huge commitment. To vow to love someone just as they are. The days, weeks, months and years since have not all been easy. Far from it. But not a day has gone by without him standing by that vow. I was dealt a good hand by life the day he walked into my life. So today dearest this one is for you. A thank you for all you do and will continue to do.
This is so lovely I felt tears might come to me. I know from something you wrote recently in a comment on someone else's project, that you have had some very hard things to deal with. It is so nice to know that there are people who keep their promises and know what love is. Yes, you are lucky, but so is he, and so are your lovely little boys. My fav for this covers much more than just this photograph.
One of the loveliest tributes to a loved one I have ever read Ruth......your husband must be very special but he was also very clever marrying you who loves & cares for her family as you do.....your boys will never go far wrong with parents such as you two? A fav for the words.
Wonderful sentiment, Newbank Lass. Me thinks you are both very lucky to have each other. If life was easy it would be boring and unappreciated ;-) Oh, and cool photo, by the way.
Heartfelt and beautiful with a perfect image to go with the metaphor of the hand you've been dealt. Seems like you are both lucky to have each other. So well composed too (text and photo!).
Just kidding :P Nicely done and wonderful sentiment, Ruth!
