Wow, a precious moment. I can remember my daughters and grandkids learning. The youngest three had quick emergency lessons when it transpired that Freya had gone out with the brownies, canoeing. She assured them she could swim - she couldn't. I still shiver when I think of what could have gone wrong! Within a couple of weeks the three of them were me rolled in lessons.
