So its nearly two years since I first started a course to take photography seriously. Two years later what I most enjoy is taking photos of my boys. Few are posed, most are candid and I like that best. Documenting their childhood. It makes me happy. But on day 12 of happy days I'm extra happy as I was selected from an international line up to be on the weekly inspirational blog for the International B & W Child Annual Contest. Many thanks to our @hwhittle77 posting when she was on it a few weeks ago. I didn't think I was up to the standard needed but I thought I'd put some images forward for consideration. Some got accepted for the very high standard flicker group but to be be selected for the blog gave me a HUGE grin. And now I'll stop bragging..... But if I can't brag here where can I? I'm about to do the school run where no one will get what it means to be on that blog but I know some of you here will.
Wow!!! Well done - what a great standard. Love that shot of yours & @hew's as well! Must up my game....I'd love to be able to enter something for a competition - maybe should be going for quality over quantity!
@judithg I just decided to have a go.... Bit shocked the photographers are soooooooo good (to be honest I feel I'm the runt of the pack this week!) Have a go....what have you got to lose!

Ruth - this kind of 'bragging' is just what we want to hear about on 365 - and I know the feeling that other people in the 'normal' world don't get the excitement! I checked out the link and was bowled over by the standard - many many congratulations to you and @hew - I am thrilled for you both. Very well deserved recognition
