I would like to know the difference between the camera setting for monochrome and post processing for that effect! This is nice and clear with good light to show a typical old shed that has a great history probably!
@maggiemae Thanks Maggiemae. And sorry, but I personally have no idea what the difference would be and whether it make any actual difference to the photo. I wonder if it has an effect on the shadows, highlights, etc? It did mean though that I could see straight away what the photo would look like without having to wait until I got home to upload it onto my laptop and change it to b&w :) Also I only have basic photo editors and nothing fancy like Photoshop so the changes I can make are quite limited.
@nickspicsnz I don't do Photoshop either - not enough brain or patience for that. Other free apps all have B&W options but I can see from your words that being able to see it immediately as B&W in the camera is an advantage!
@maggiemae I ought to test if the settings on the camera are different when I use monochrome by taking some colour ones of the same thing. Maybe I'll get a chance tomorrow.
