This week our Facebook group's challenge is landscapes. All well and good on a sunny day but a bit more difficult to get a nice shot on a dull, grey and rainy day. To make this photo a bit more interesting I used Picasa to add an effect.
I love the atmosphere and processing in this shot, especially that grass. Beautiful composition, but I think I would have tried to get the fence post not so dead centre

You're right, the post is very distracting... but I took this out of the car window because I didn't want to go out in the rain so had limited space to manoeuvre to change the composition! ;-)
Have you tried a HDR shot on this type if weather .. Haven't tried it myself, but I believe it can help.
