The nearest duck was preening so to try and get it's attention I quacked. I didn't think it would work for one minute but the duck seemed quite surprised to hear a non-duck quacking and lifted it's head to see what was going on!
Taken as b&w in camera for Flash of Red Feb - negative/positive space week. Edited: I had forgotten we had to use the same item for every photo this week but today and tomorrow's pics feature the Waikato River so that's my item.
