The Back Road by nickspicsnz

The Back Road

This road is known locally as "the back road to Huntly". It's used by locals when they're trying to avoid traffic jams on the main highway. I was struck by the leading lines of the power lines on both sides of the roads. That's a lot of power lines considering there's not many houses along this road! Normally I find power lines a real pain as they get in the way when I'm trying to take shots of landscapes, but today I decided to celebrate them. I also liked the fact that the corn was growing on both sides of the road blocking any view and, consequently, there are no distractions to the eye and the focus is on the road.

Taken as b&w in camera for Flash of Red Feb.
Great leading lines and as you are celebrating the power lines would be a good candidate for the eye of the beholder theme too?

@mandygravil Thanks. I hadn't thought of them as being eye of the beholder material.
@joysabin Thanks very much :)
