Had a go at oil and water photography for this week of Rainbow month. Last time I tried this was a few years ago and if I remember rightly it was not successful. This time I watched a couple of youtube videos and read a couple of articles, then used trial and error for my own set up. Still not perfect by any means and, in hindsight, I probably should have had the camera closer to the water. Also a new dish might have been a good idea because mine had a lot of little marks and scratches so I had to do quite a bit of spot removing in post. Nevertheless, doing a week's worth of photos meant I had a good practice and it was fun to try - I quite like some of the results. This looks better on black if you have the time.
