Oh my word - out today on the farm with our friends and I clattered Bob on the quad bike - have scratched and chipped the glass filter - thank goodness it had that on the lens!
Oooh! Poor Bob! At least you had that filter on. Another good thing to do is to have your lens hood on. That really does keep things well away from your lens. Sorry about the Creampuff bit - I wanted something that sounded close to steampowered and it seemed to fit the bill.
