Single Malt. by nicolaeastwood

Single Malt.

It was "that" kind of day. Wanted to go out at lunchtime, too cold, grey, wet and busy! So I was left to find inspiration at home this evening. Tempted to play with the torch and a long exposure (and knowing that I don't know nearly enough about how to do that!) I caught the decanter in the torch light and spotted the reflection.

I knew I so much to learn on this journey, only just starting to realise just how much........

Have found camera manual, am reading with a glass of whisky in hand!!
That's lovely (and I'll bet the contents are good as well!) the cut of the decanter has caused the diffusion of the light into some interseting shapes).

@steampowered contents are aiding a decision on new lens and/or "proper flash" (at the very least I need to get a better torch!!)

@nicolaeastwood Hi Nicola. I use a Canon Speedlite 430EX II Flash when I need to (plus a cheap diffuser) but it was (and still is) a bit pricey. I believe that you can get a generic Chinese model (with a name like Yongnuo or something like that) that does more or less the same for a lot less cash.

Irish or Scotch, both are good single malts - nice tonality and positioning
