@paul2782 I'm still at the "where's the such and such button!" stage having used the auto functions for so long, the manuals have been useful in the last 40 days! As for the book, well.... I like a book with lots of pictures! :0)
Great image. I am your get pushed buddy and as you are doing the February Challenge then obviously I can't ask you to photograph a particular subject so instead I will ask you to do a high key image. I hope you can challenge me to do something only when I am using film for my main photos this month then I won't be using Photoshop.

It's good that you have some books on the subject and have read them, I know people who just pick up their camera / flash and just use them as they see fit on full auto everything without realising their full potential.
