Okay I know it's an occupational hazard of being a Brit.....putting up with the weather.....but when I was little I'm sure summer used to arrive about now. I remember blisteringly hot sports days on fields with not a postage stamp's worth of shade, and ice creams that actually melted and nights when it was too hot to sleep and all the windows were open in the hope of just that tiny breeze.
Thank you for stopping by, like many of you I've seen here recently I've stopped thanking you all for your wonderful comments, preferring to spend the time looking and learning from your shots instead. Time is so precious, but every comment is read and appreciated so, so much. Thanks for continuing the photographic journey with me! :0)
Meanwhile I'm off to make a hot chocolate and hug a radiator! x
Ah but if it was blisteringly hot, you would not be able to take gorgeous shots of water droplets like this and drink hot chocolate. So every cloud.......
Gorgeous shot, Nicola. I know what you mean about not thanking for comments and I am ok with that. I know you appreciate the comments because so do I - they really do help one want to keep on keeping on. I don't even have time to read all the thank you's either.
