Something fascinates me about the inside of a poppy!
I wanted to do a full flower shot of this but it rained so much as this was opening that the outside of the petals almost look like they've gone rusty. It doesn't look pretty!
(Taken on 18th to fill a gap created by sitting on the M3 for almost three hours on 17th going nowhere. Hope the three men involved in the accident make a full recovery.)
@paul2782 Thanks, Paul, was on my way out to a meeting, and had a feeling it might rain, so was worried the shot might not be there when I got home, so there I was IN the flower bed in my suit, and office shoes at 8.30 this morning!! (the things we do for our art!!)
@nicolaeastwood I was crouched on the pavement this pm taking a shot of a window dressing and PC plod asked what I was doing could he look at what I'd taken thought I was casing the joint ! Lol
@paul2782 oh no really? You see I haven't really got over my "taking photos in public phobia yet" - I'd be terrified of that......that's bad isn't it, nearly six months into this project!!?
