Rain rain rain!

There has been an awful lot of the stuff in the UK lately!

We're very lucky that our property isn't in danger of flooding, but lots are and have been.

I've been out this morning taking photos of the floods for a local group who are opposing further housing development of the fields around us. We're not opposed to sensible development, if there is a real need for houses, but local infrastructure is stretched to breaking point. There have already been big developments over the last two years locally and the impact of these isn't yet clear.

This little pond is a lot bigger than is should be and is about to spill onto the road, then down our lane…..and another storm due in over night.

That's one of those funny notices - like the ones you see on bags of peanuts that say "may contain nuts!" Can we look forward to some underwater shots?
