We have kept in touch with several of the amazing nurses that looked after Little D when she was in hospital, nine years ago.
One of those nurses came to see us on Saturday bringing these yummy cupcakes with her!! Thank you Debbie!! She spied my new camera on the table and I was trying to persuade her to join 365. Committing the time for her is difficult though. She is one amazing lady.
I'm not sure whether this is truly high key (I'm sure that @steampowered will confirm!) I don't think the wiggly lines are high enough on the right hand side!! :0) but the title wouldn't work otherwise, and it's kind of candy for Saturday's word!
Looks like high calories to me and gorgeous so blow what the Techno Tart says. By the way were you chasing Debbie to join 365!!! Think you meant persuade, made me howl.
@steampowered thanks for the comment on the ivy shot, I've missed posting. Work has been, shall we say…. stressful this last week and this weekend I've had to have a concerted effort at tidying up the house, which has not been a beneficiary of the 365 project or a new camera! Still we have tidied, vacuumed, cleaned, ironed and even put a couple of pictures up - curtain shopping next weekend - so hopefully - I'm back!! Tell me, will the "high key police" do me under the trades description act on this shot?
I can conform that this is a high key shot. Taking an average of all of the tones across the picture the R,G,B values are 185,169,162 which exceeds the median point R,G,B of 128,128,128 (i.e. more higher tones tending towards the maximum of R,G,B 255,255,255 than not)
Hi Nicola, just noticed your next two pics were with mine as I put the wrong tag for feb13words instead of 14. Those cupcakes look so yummy, nice high key
