Thank you @padlock for your brilliant advice (as ever!) look what arrived today - how fast was that?!
So in the spirit of 365 I thought I'd take a quick snap OF it and then play WITH it. I got rather involved, however, with just how the curve on the lens impacted the sharpness of the words "EXTENSION TUBE"…..see how TUBE is crisp, but the EXTENSION bit isn't….and just how Bob's 61 cute little points of focus, and different apertures could alter this DOF….got rather more involved than was necessary to be fair!
Then Little D wanted to do some colouring before bed (with Mummy) and then it was too late…….
