Fabulous photo of them - he's famous now. Definitely good publicity for the charity. Do people make donations? Adam was asking how it worked - is it 'just' publicity and a lovely thing to do or is there a financial benefit?
@judithg No, we weren't allowed to ask for donations as the RHS itself is a charity. The idea was really to raise awareness and the profile of the charity and the neonatal unit itself. Everyone involved had a personal connection. The plants that were donated will either be sold off (today, rather sad to think it won't be there tomorrow!) or quite a few will be transferred to St George's where Patrick will work with the landscape team to create a new garden at the hospital as a legacy. Lovely to have nice spaces for those that have to spend a long time at the hospital.
