All of the people in these picture learnt music in one form or another through the London Borough of Bromley school music programme. I did too!
Thanks to cuts in arts funding we all get together every two years and rehearse during the day and perform a gala concert in the evening to raise money to make sure that music lessons are open to all kids and not just those with parents that can afford it.
I grew up with these guys I love them. Music and the arts is so so so important. Many of these people make their living from music, many of us don’t but the skills we learnt together; the discipline, team work, respect and camaraderie have made us who we are. Rant over!
I didn’t play, I took photos! Top night, great music, great people, bit of a party afterwards.......and a shed load of money raised! 💕
