These sun spot things in the middle of the shot, how are they from a "proper" photographic point of view?...good, bad, terrible? do they mark me out as a rank amateur or is it something that we can live with?...in this I quite like them as it reminds me that I was squinting straight into the low sun, and all that was missing was a glass of Pimms!
@paul2782 Ahhh "flare" that's what it is called "not sun spot things", I originally typed blobby things, and improved on that only slightly!! :0). Thank you I'm so glad you liked it! enjoy the sun this week!
Nicola, the flare works so well in this one, gorgeous shot. I don't always like the flare though - probably what I mean is I never really get it right.
