My dad is celebrating his birthday in Lockdown today.
I baked him a Black Forest cake and dropped it down this morning. He isn’t happy that we can’t have dinner to celebrate. Once this is all over we will have many birthdays to celebrate. My sister and I, who share the same birthday, will be celebrating in a few weeks and my youngest is turning 14 in October, and not to mention Buster turns one on 1 September. We are going to have one huge celebration 🎉
Happy birthday to your dad. His cake looks and sounds delicious. I'm sure that he will enjoy it even if he is unable to share with the rest of the family.
The cake looks Spectacular which is no surprise coming from you! I would love to have a piece of that! It was nice you were able to at least send him the cake and I know you will spend lots of time celebrating all the special birthdays together in the near future. Happy birthday to dad
Well, look at it this way- everyone gets their own private cake and then you all get one big cake for the reunion birthday celebration. Double the cake, double the fun! I know it's tough to be separated when you really want to be together. But that cake looks amazing and I sure it tasted amazing as well. Wow!
