Yesterday I was given a temporary promotion at working and am now acting Director of the section I am in. I have approximately 14 people reporting to me and to say that I went from busy to ultra busy today is an understatement. My emails exploded and I had back to back meetings for the majority of the day. I am exhausted. I have only been in this organisation for three months and I still have so much to learn. Out of the frying pan and into the fire as they say.
I’m going to try and read a chapter of my book tonight if I can. I’m thoroughly enjoying it if you are looking for a new book.
