Went to the Cotswold Airport today, this used to be RAF Kemble, a local airfield with a lot of history. More recently the RAF Red Arrows acrobatic team were stationed here, but sadly they too have now moved on. Still an operational airport with a lot of local flying clubs. It is home to a company that strips commercial aircraft for spares and given the recent downturn in aircraft travel there are a substantial number of big planes that have arrived on a one way ticket to the graveyard in the sky...
