Just made it through Inverewe Gardens this morning before the rain and wind started. There was a lot of damage to trees caused by 90 mile winds earlier in the year. Now at our hotel for the night, the rain is going sideways and gusting (according to our weather app) at around 40mph, the roof tiles and windows are rattling.....
