This is Fish River Canyon in the northern part of the Nama Karoo. It is the second largest canyon on earth, featuring a gigantic ravine that measures 100 miles long. It's hard to capture the enormity of it in a picture. We were supposed to visit in the morning but the weather was awful only clearing when we arrived in the afternoon.
