This is a Quiver Tree and if you are into archery it is where you get the term "a quiver full of arrows". The branches of this tree are full of fibrous threads which can be pulled out to leave a hollow wooden tube which bush men used to store the arrows for their hunting. The boulders in this vast landscape are known as part of the giants playground.
