This is one of our local pub/restaurants which first opened in 1876.
It is named after the Bell Rock Lighthouse which is situated about 12 miles off the coast. It is the world's oldest sea-washed lighthouse which is still working. The rock on which it stands is only uncovered at low water and is submerged some 16ft at high tide. The lighthouse was designed by Robert Stevenson, construction started in 1807 and was completed in 1811.
