The Silvery Tay  by nodrognai

The Silvery Tay

"Beautiful silvery Tay,
With your landscapes, so lovely and gay,
Along each side of your waters, to Perth all the way;
No other river in the world has got scenery more fine,
Only I am told the beautiful Rhine"

Thus does the poet William Topaz McGonagall describe the river Tay and I saw a glimpse of it here in the sunlight.

Nice capture of the movement of waves

I really like this, Ian. The light on the waves from the foreground all the way to the land, the bridge, and the sky is especially captivating. (And the poem is a nice complement to your photo). Fav
