Back in '98, I went on an eight day Outward Bound course trekking through the wilderness of Lake Superior Provincial Park. Along the "path", we saw these amazing inukshuks others had built to help guide the way. At night, by the campfire, we tried our hand at balancing stones. It was a task that was strangely compelling, and yet relaxing. You had to focus completely on what you were doing - no room for distracting thoughts or worries.
A couple years ago I found a rock-balancing game called Rukshuk which reminded me of that time in the wilderness. In the game, the above formation is called "the Pinnacle" and is worth 57 points.
