The Girl in the Grass

Photog taking picture of Old City Hall from the rooftop gardens at new City Hall.

I actually think this "works" better in the thumbnail than large. I'm still struggling with balancing the person as focal point against the architecture. However, I now know how to burn and dodge in PSE as well as to use the soft light overlay.

Thanks everyone for comments and favs on yesterday's photo. I really appreciate all the encouragement. I'm afraid I'm not going to get to commenting tonight as it is late and I'm beat, but I plan to catch up tomorrow.

Awesome catch. I loved the scene enough, with the contrasts between older stone buildings and the new highrises. But the photographer in the grass really did it for me; fav'ed big time! ;-p
