Evening Scramble

this is Yonge and Bloor... if you know Toronto, it is one of THE intersections... this is a composite of only 2 images and I was a bit more purposeful in selecting which ones to use... plus of course I bw'd it in Nik SFX... not sure if it works better than yesterday's efforts... I'm kind of intrigued by the concept and trying to figure out what would make it "work"... one day I'll give it a go with the tripod but it isn't easy to drag it around on public transit and I will likely experiment closer to home first (altho' the corners are nowhere near as interesting!)...

I think, btw, that this might look better large on black - but maybe that will just make things worse ;p

Tx for your patience while I play with this - you were all so nice about yesterday's messes! :) i'm also working on my "push" (night photography) and will post one of those tonight as well...

Oooh, wow, funky. I do indeed know that intersection!

Really like the effect, and I think not having it on a tripod so there's a disjoint in the background works well.

Great tags, too!

Great work, now I would like to visit that intersection

I love the movement you have in your shots! Very unique but truly representative of our hurry, hurry lifestyle :)

Love the experiments, I prefer the color

I love (fav) it in bw. busy hurried haunting lives and the seemingly unchanging immortality of the buildings.

I like this one even better than yesterday's. I think you're on to something. Great theme entry!

A great abstract in its own right. Visually, it lures the attention to the images... Forces the eye to search. Well done sister Northy!

It is a great shot, and like @abirkill says, I think not having a tripod has worked in your favour here.

It's so spooky! I think it's a very surreal effect.
Maybe you could get a monopod if you'd like a little more stability without being a tripping hazard? ;)

Fabulous ghostly image! Love this effect, it looks like you're having lots of fun with it :)

Love this. Great in large and on black. I think it works better in B&W, as opposed to yesterday's colour shot. Less crazy, I think
