Mist again today... and this time i shot in RAW... and maybe even sort of developed in Lightroom... and i thought it was ok, but there were these annoying yellow signs (Danger Will Robinson! Danger!)... i tried to colour over them... and then i tried to selective UNcolour them... and finally i just started playing around with Lightroom's black and white presets... and yeah... so... this!
Oh, must have been fun shooting that. I still need to learn Lightroom as well - need to get a book or something! And hello, reply back with dates. Looking for mid-February meet up. :)
Lightroom looks like Camera Raw CS6, right? In PS CS6 Camera Raw, this would be easy it seems to me. What does Lightroom do that makes it so difficult? i wonder.
BTW, Excellent shot. apart fro any other extraneous conversations.
This is really, really lovely. Don't you just hate when you have a great shot, but some small detail is in your way? Nice job with shooting in RAW, it's a lot of work, but so much fun!
@frankhymus actually - developping in lightroom (assuming i did it more or less correctly), wasn't too awful this go around... i tried it for a few days in the summer and it just confused the heckouta me... but i've been doing a lot more post processing in lightroom of late, so maybe that's why dealing with RAW didn't seem so daunting...
Glad you're getting comfortable in raw and Lightroom. . .that's my workflow! I agree with someone above, too - you DO really do mist well! You're getting all sorts of specialties!!
@northy Latest release of Lightroom? I use Photoshop CS6 and its huge upgrade to Camera RAW, the technology behind Lightroom Adobe says. Perhaps Lightroom got a recent push up too? CS6 Camera RAW is a delight to work with.
BTW, Excellent shot. apart fro any other extraneous conversations.
Great tags. ;-)
