Framed! by northy

Framed!

This was taken whilst on my way home from the Toronto meet-up on Sunday... been missing my "creeping dark" ;p

And now to spend some time trying to catch up with everyone... feels like a bit of a daunting task, but I need to start somewhere!
Welcome back to the darkside

Dark and dangerous. Love that you can see Spadina in each little window.
March 13th, 2013
I love how it looks as though he's walking across three calendar pages - like he's walking through a year. Or am I the only one who sees that?
March 13th, 2013
In Toronto, I believe, that in winter hardly anyone goes outside - all these tunnels leading to different places and strange men walking past shady corners!
March 13th, 2013

March 13th, 2013
Lovely shot. Do you take them as you see them or do you see the possibility and wait for someone to walk into the frame?
March 13th, 2013
fav from me too. The dude is cool there, but I'd fav this even without him. Love the shapes and geometry, repetition, the Spadinas ...

Fav for me too. Like the way you've caught him while he's walking through the last frame - feels like you've been spying on him.

Excellent again, at first I noticed the man walking out of the image, then all the details hit me, Spadina in every frame and hint of tiles. Fav

You have such a creative edge, especially with your b&w photos!

Dark is sexy----and we all look good in the dark, aren't we?--great capture-fav !
March 14th, 2013
@dh a bit of both... In this case I saw him walking and waited until he was in the right spot - and hoped like hell no one else would walk into the frame and ruin it :)
March 14th, 2013
The three lit frames and one with a silouette brings a nice underground drama to the scene.
