Tineke gave me a push challenge of light painting... something i have never tried because i really hadn't a clue... clearly i still don't have a clue...
Most light-painting photography seems to involve drawing and i can't draw worth a damn, so i tried something else... actually, i tried several something elses... and tomorrow, i will obviously have to think of more something elses to try...
I think you did a pretty bang-up, and very "you" job here. It's not your typical light-painting shot, which I dig. It kind of reminds me of those Players Theater (or whatever they're called) where they all dress up in black and do entire plays with glowy things. Do you even know what I'm talking about? I shall shut up now.
I haven't tried light painting yet, but like how unique this one is from the rest. When I first looked at the shot, I thought it was two pairs of legs - looks like ice speed skaters getting ready to take off from the starting line! And the light was mist from the rink.
I think you did an awesome job on this! I love how you can just barely see the legs of the chair. Fabulous composition and execution of the light painting!
