Were they really shopping? I'm wondering if this isn't the area around Ryerson, or somewhere like that. I think that's where they teach fashion design and so on, isn't it? It would probably be around the right time for end of year fashion shows, project completions, and the like. That's my take on it, anyway :D
@Cheesebiscuit@edie i'm guessing either for the theatre or a fashion shoot... for some reason, they reminded me of "the Devil Wears Prada" - only they were having fun and didn't look terrified ;p
On set everything is "travelling." They get on their walkies and say "We are travelling wardrobe" or "We are travelling talent" (that would be human beings) This totally reminds me of those days.
Reminds me of so many movies and t.v shows featuring the New York garment industry - My first thought of shopping was - bags would be so much easier to schlep across the street - so I'm guessing some form of employment required movement of garments - Such a cool street shot!
