Post Office

after taking a few shots in this location Security told me no photography allowed... so, this is NOT Las Vegas airport... ;p

i am now back from our trip to canyon country which was beyond fantastic, and working on going thru my photos and catching up here... so bear with me... i took a LOT of photos - just hoping that a few will have turned out ok - the scenery was spectacular, and of a "bigness incomprehensible"... i never felt able to do it justice :)

the above shot was minimally processed in LR5 and converted to bw with nik silver efex... i removed a couple of light reflections on the floor in PSE10...

I can understand the security freak out if you were photographing access points of flight and passenger movement - cool not a shot of anywhere protected by random anti-photography hysteria! - - Seriously great classic Northy-ness and a really powerful use of the lone figure for context and scale.
