i'm out of lightbulbs and time today... took part two of the Lightroom course and am starting to understand just how little i know about colour... so back to black and white and murky light (my comfort zone ;p)...
this is a bit of an experiment... processed in LR, converted to bw in nik silver fx... but split tones were added in LR as i decided it was high time i started figuring out how to do it properly :)
(this works quite nicely enlarged on black, i think)
thank you all so much for the wonderful response to the lightbulb shot... i have to say, tho', apart from breaking the bulb, this was infinitely easier a set up than a smoke shot and much less of a pain than a water drop shot!
Fab shot!! Love it. I have some presets in LR that I love for split tones... they can be fun to play with but also sometimes make it hard for me to decide on an edit lol.
This is just great. Well balanced light and shadows. Fav. I have purchased LR5 course on Creative Live when it was on sale and hoping to watch it at some point.
This is freakin' awesome. I have no clue about the processing; I don't know a split tone from a banana split, but there is something amazing about the end result. Fav
