OMG!!! i'm only posting this because (a) i've put too much work into it to toss it, (b) just possibly someone will get a smidgeon of a sense of what i was trying to do, give me some constructive criticism and possibly some suggestions for how to get closer to what i was after, and (c) there is a teeny tiny part of me that kind of likes this craptastic mess...
only i couldn't find fire to photograph anywhere! so i took several shots of a candle flame... and then one of me in the mask... and then i downloaded a trial version of photoshop so i could play with the warp tool and kinda went to town... THEN i took the durned thing back into lightroom where i played around with analog fx and as well as a radial filter... and... uhm... yeah... for the hair theme... and the etsooi challenge which this week is "silence"...

sounds as if you were involved in this creation for some time! As long as you enjoyed it, it doesn't really matter if it is not exactly what you want! This is definitely a Medusa picture!
I love it! It has a really cool feel so i'm faving! I love how you composed. There are some cool warp tools in pic monkey especially in the halloween sections (demons,zombies,vampires) and lipstick section. I think you can get to those for free to play with but some things are locked. I think to open everything it's 3 or 4.99 a month. I don't know if it would have let you do exactly what you were going for but something fun to check out. I love what you did here, fantastic not craptastic and great for the theme.
