another attempt at refraction photography... this time using softbox pro on my iPhone, and a smallish glass of water... i'm a bit happier with this result - although i would be happier still if i could figure out how to get rid of the bubbles without using photoshop :)
btw, in case you're interested, i have chosen refractions for the next technique challenge because i figured ya'all should have the opportunity to suffer along with me as i try to figure out how to do this ;p
Great idea (or not) for the challenge. This will definitely be interesting. And I do like this one a lot! If you figure out the bubbles issue, will you post?
Really like this one! This is a good technique for macro too, potentially. This was done using my TV but didn't like it much either. http://365project.org/archaeofrog/365/2013-05-11 Only time I've tried.
Cool shot. Included this technique when I did light painting with a torch back at the beginning of February - http://365project.org/pennyp/365/2014-02-01. Going to have another go for your challenge. 😉
Every time I've attempted this with my p&s, I've been unable to do it. It just doesn't like being confused as to what it should be focusing on! This result though is very eye-catching!
