this place

this morning i had to take one of my boys to Downsview Park for a lacrosse game... this place has a fabulous industrial wasteland feel to it and i spent a nice half hour wondering around... and shooting some selfies for my hatter gig tomorrow...

this isn't my usual sort of shot, but definitely a spot i want to return to for a more atmospheric shoot :)

@kass tx Kass... the entry is at Keele and Sheppard... you turn south onto John Drury Road and then left-ish onto Carl Hall road (i think those are the names)... and you end up in this crazy wasteland place... it's all still in use - there's a circus school, and airplane museum i think, a squash club or something... but the place has this fabulous abandoned post apocalyptic feel... my husband has said he'd go there with me at night sometime... i'm thinking maybe early July when the kids are at camp and it's a bit warmer out... not quite sure what the place will be like at night, mind you - but i definitely want to check it out...
