my alter ego? i'm not sure i really think of myself or identify with batman, but i think of the dark knight as a quiet, relentless, self-made powerhouse... ruthless, committed and certain... a force for good, but somewhat balanced on a knife's edge...

@ksmale tx Karen... i have a remote and the camera has a flip screen... so i am looking at the screen as i am posing... i had already put the "square" that is on the screen, in the spot where i wanted the focal point (if that makes sense)... since i can see it, it's pretty easy to put my hand in the spot where the camera will focus... press the remote, it focusses, and then takes the shot :)
@ksmale oh, and if you're wondering about the lighting - i did a fair bit of experimenting... and in the end, painted on a bit of exposure on my arm in lightroom to avoid a completely disembodied hand...
Great Low Key. Do you need a challenge or has someone else given you a challenge? If you need one then I challenge you to create a diptych with 1 low key and 1 high key photo.
