an in camera double exposure shot for the weekly theme... i'm still trying to figure out what i need to do to make this work properly... i keep watching the video tutorials, but somehow continue to choose the wrong combination of images...
I think it looks great. Wouldn't you get the same shot with single exposure?

So what DOESN'T work about this? I think it's awesome. Of course, I don't know what your vision was for the shot.

I wonder how you make the humble chess pieces look so good, every time. I think they are becoming your trade mark. Love the light and shadows.

Very nicely done.

Well it looks pretty amazing to me so if this is not right I will certainly be super amazed when you do get it right .

Wish I had these as I am supposed to do a ying-yang picture. Well done.

@lesip well that's part of the problem... Actually the images are overlapping, but you can only just barely tell... I need to figure out two subjects where the overlap is obvious, but still meaningful... :)

Another stunning chess shot!!! My friend gave me a chess board the other day and when Josh came around to do some macro I showed him some of your work as an example. He spent about 4 hours just tinkering, im looking forward to seeing what he captured.

Great black and white shot

The ghosting is very cool. I really struggle with double-exposure images too. Never know what works well. I am rather envious that you can do it in-camera... I think there's a Sony app for the NEX but apparently it's rubbish.

This is cool, and I so totally appreciate the effort now! I tried some of these in camera this afternoon (and, no, I did not watch ANY videos, so I had no idea what I was doing....and, I still don't), and it will be a while before I can figure it out!

I suspect the overlap would show up better with the black in front of the white. It's still a cool image.
