Yoda or Voldemort?

A turtle from my zoo trip on Saturday.

Yoda: “A Jedi uses the Force for knowledge and defense, never for attack.” (The Empire Strikes Back).

Lord Voldemort: "There is no good and evil. There is only power, and those too weak to seek it." (From the Philosopher's Stone).

(Personally i think he looks far to gentle to be Voldemort, but of course as Yoda teaches us, looks can be deceiving ;p).

Philosophically I am inclined to agree with Voldemort: if we describe something as evil we close off asking deeper questions about it. (Ditto 'good'). However, as a human being who tries to do the right thing, I'm with Yoda. But if I allow another (an elected politician for example) to do something that I think is 'evil' while personally being 'good' am I really being good. I think not! Nice photo by the way! Zoos

He has far too much of a scheming look to be Yoda. As an aside, I was a late developer in terms of career success, but I achieved much in my last 10 years entirely due to taking to heart Yoda's wonderful piece of life philosophy - "Do, or do not... there is no try." I've lived by that ever since. Has to be a Fav!
