the eye

so... this happened... i was playing around with my push challenge set by Milla ( @mbrigit ) which was to shoot a multiple exposure... and was trying to dream up a concept that would work with two images rather than three (as per a suggestion made by David - @yrhenwr )... and.. well... this...

a two image multiple exposure done in camera, with some tweaking in LR, PS and silver FX...

@yrhenwr - i kind of agree with your assessment of the earlier image, but thought that by cutting off that bit that there wouldn't be enough of the concept left to read the picture... and so i end up with this which i am not sure i would even begin to know how to read ;p

Oh yes! This is so much better and it beats my suggestion too. Compelling! It's that eye.. in such stark contrast with the dream-like feel of the rest of the image.. really pulls me. Yet the hand says 'NO'! Fab! Fav.
