chairs

another misty morning cottage shot... i'm rather on the fence with these chairs... i don't seem able to convey the sense of mystery and anticipation that they give off in real life...

i expect this will be the last of them for this go around... i'm back in the city now, and back to work tomorrow...

I think you have conveyed 'mystery and anticipation' very well. The black and white gives a moodiness and eeriness for a subject that you would expect to see in full sunlight with happy people. Maybe that is where the expectation and anticipation comes in!

Quite like it but I know what you mean. A thought: line up all the chairs from the left so they lead us towards the open rising ground and ditch the parasol... the table on the right well separated from the chairs, still catching the light. Might adds something to the mystery you seek.... ??
