for get pushed this week, @annied challenged me to shoot something that is "not your typical Halloween but can still be identified as Halloween"... i'm struggling with this... the mask and mosquito netting make regular appearances in my project throughout the year... halloween's got nothing to do with it - so - does that meet the challenge? i do have a couple other thoughts... we'll see what transpires over the next couple of days...
also for 5+2's high key / low key challenge... and the 13 days of halloween :D
A picture in which one gradually sinks...
Something occult in this mystical light-darkness. Sovereign mastery of pictorial means. This mysterious face in the background, in the blurred, pale skin in contrast to the dark eyeshadow - just beautiful... The image divided with this line from the edge of the cloth - dark the big shape, slightly transparent, behind the big hand in expressive gesture , extinguishing in the dark, only the tip of the thumb sticks out brightly, marvelously in correspondence with the bright face.
An artwork.

You use the veil and mask so well and this is perfect for the challenge. It carries an uncertainty which is suggestive of haunting. Beautiful balance of elements.
