sundance

the sun came out today, shone thru the slats of the blinds in my office and made some interesting patterns along the wall...

(someone once pointed me to an instagram account devoted entirely to this kind of shot... sadly i've forgotten who it was or which account it was - but if you're still out there please remind me!!!)

updated: ok - i found it... it wasn't an instagram account... it was a video... which tells the story of the book the photographer published of the photos she took and posted to instagram...

His instagram account hasn't got so much of this minimalism as normal, but Jani's website has a lot of these sorts of shots - http://www.janimaki.net/minimal-effort/

Love how you turned it at a diagonal to create tension.

@shannejw thx Shane... I do follow Jani :). The insta account that I was talking about is run out of New York and is more about light and shadow than minimalism per se... nice to see you btw!

this is great. We were told about the great patterns created in the Philip Johnston Gallery in Conneticut. Unfortunately we were at the wrong time of day to experience this. You would enjoy.
